Fresno State holds off UH softball team 4-3

Andrea Ortega hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the sixth inning to lift No. 10 Fresno State to a 4-3 victory over No. 24 Hawai'i in a Western Athletic Conference softball game today at Fresno, Calif.
Fresno State is 43-8 overall and 9-3 in the WAC. Hawai'i is 33-15 and 7-5.
Ortega's homer to left field with two outs gave the Bulldogs a 4-1 lead.
UH's Audrey Andrade hit a two-run homer in the top of the seventh with two outs to close Fresno State's lead to 4-3. After Katie Grimes singled, Tanisha Milca grounded into a fielder's choice to end the game.
Richie-Ann Titcomb had an RBI single for the Rainbow Wahine.
UH pitcher Kate Robinson gave up four earned runs, eight hits and struck out two and walked none.
