McLachlin struggles to 74, trails by nine in Byron Nelson golf

Honolulu's Parker McLachlin shot a 4-over-par 74 in the third round of the EDS Byron Nelson Championship at the TPC Four Seasons Resort Las Colinas in Irving, Texas.

McLachlin was tied for 28th at 1-over 211, nine shots behind leader Adam Scott, who shot a 67. Scott was three shots ahead of Bart Bryant, Kevin Sutherland, Charley Hoffman and Ryan Moore, who were tied for second.

McLachlin started the day two strokes behind Scott.

McLachlin had bogeys on Nos. 1, 11, 12 and 15 and no birdies in his round today. He had three birdies on each of the first two days.
