A 35-year-old man was charged today with assault and terroristic threatening after allegedly running over his girlfriend with a car.

Police say the man, Howard Bannister, and the 43-year-old woman were arguing last night when the woman got out of the car in 'Ewa.

As the argument continued, the man allegedly ran over the woman's legs with the car, causing serious injuries. The man was arrested in the car a short distance away.
