Autos: Ford driver Mikko Hirvonen wins Jordan Rally

SOUTHERN SHUNEH, Jordan — Mikko Hirvonen won the Jordan Rally today to move into the lead of the world rally championship standings.
The 27-year-old Finn finished the three-day event in 4 hours, 2 minutes, 47.9 seconds in his Ford, more than a minute ahead of second-place Dani Sordo of Spain in a Citroen. Reigning world champion Sebastien Loeb was 10th in 4:26:26. He collided Saturday with Citroen teammate Conrad Rautenbach.
Hirvonen leads the standings with 35 points, five ahead of Loeb and seven more than Chris Atkinson of Australia.
