Ahuimanu brushfire posing no immediate threat

Firefighters tonight are monitoring a brushfire burning in a remote area of Ahuimanu that is not posing a threat to homes.
The fire is on the east side of the valley, said Honolulu Fire Department spokesman Capt. Terry Seelig. It was reported at about 5:30 p.m.
