Liholiho Elementary School will hold a lu'au May 9. The proceeds will go to create the nonprofit Liholiho Foundation to help the school with future fundraising efforts.

Lu'au entertainment will include Liholiho students and Hawaiian music artist Troy Fernandez, a Liholiho parent.

Pre-sale tickets are available for $16 for a regular Hawaiian plate and $20 for a deluxe plate. Day-of tickets are $19 and $24, respectively.

Tickets may be used for the sit-down lu'au or for drive-through pick-up from the school's Ninth Avenue entrance.

The event takes place at the school campus at 3430 Maunaloa Ave. from 4 to 7 p.m. For more information, call 733-4850.
