Various lane closures are scheduled next week on the Pali Highway to allow for tree trimming and pothole repair, the state Department of Transportation said.

Monday through Friday, the right lane between Old Pali Road and the Pali tunnel in the Kailua-bound direction will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily for tree trimming.

Alternating left, middle and right lane closures between Jack Lane and Wyllie Street are scheduled for pothole repair:

• Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Honolulu-bound direction.

• Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Kailua-bound direction.

The DOT advises motorists to use alternate routes and to allow for extra travel time.
