Expect lane closures for Fort Weaver project
Alternating lane closures will take place along Fort Weaver Road in both directions daily throughout the work week.
North-bound lanes from Geiger Road to Renton Road, will be shut down between 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. today through Friday.
South-bound lanes from Old Fort Weaver to Geiger will be shut down from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The work is part of the Fort Weaver Road widening project designed to widen it from four lanes to six.
