Police today seized an undisclosed amount of crystal meth and arrested two people in a raid on a suspected drug house in Waikele.

The 8:40 a.m. raid at 94-1141 Ho'omakoa St. was conducted by the Criminal Investigation Division's new Strategic Enforcement Detail and Narcotics/Vice Division personnel. In addition to meth, police also seized suspected stolen items in the house that were traded for drugs.

A man, 45, and woman, 38, were arrested for investigation of second- and third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, all felony offenses, and petty misdemeanor third-degree promotion of detrimental drugs.

Today's raid is the second in the Waipahu area by the Strategic Enforcement Detail and Narco/Vice in the last two weeks.

On July 21, police raided a duplex on the 91-100 block of Pahu Street and arrested a 38-year-old man for second-degree meth trafficking; another 38-year-old man for third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug; and a man, 40, and woman, 19, for second-degree promotion of a dangerous drug.
