"Dance Explorers," an interactive and participatory children's program, takes place from 10 a.m. Thursday at the children's room of the Kapolei Public Library.

The one-hour creative movement program will allow participants to learn the fundamentals of stretching and using large motor skills. The concepts of rhythm, music expression, and dance movement will also be introduced.

The event is free. But all children must be accompanied by an adult.
