HATTIESBURG, Miss. — Brett Favre landed at Hattiesburg-Laurel Regional Airport this afternoon, returning from potentially his final trip to Green Bay as a member of the Packers.
Favre said he is considering playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or the New York Jets.
"It's in everyone's best interest to do it quicker than later," he said about getting a deal done as soon as possible. "I won't say we're running out of time, but I need to get into a camp somewhere."
Favre said the Packers had taken a stance to have Aaron Rodgers as its starting quarterback.
"The fans in Green Bay were awesome. Green Bay has been awesome to me and my family. They have good players and good coaches, but it's time to move on," he said.
Favre's arrival with wife Deanna, and agent Bus concluded the three-day trip to Green Bay to try to settle their differences.
