The Kuli'ou'ou/Kalani Iki Neighborhood Board will discuss the development of a steep hillside parcel above homes in 'Aina Haina at its monthly meeting tonight.

The board will hear a presentation by residents of Manauwea Street, which sits just below the site of the proposed single-family home.

Some neighbors are concerned that construction will cause excess erosion in an area that has been affected by heavy flooding and rock slides over the last 10 years.

The meeting convenes at 7 p.m. in the 'Aina Haina Public Library, 5246 Kalaniana'ole Highway.
