Parker Ranch rodeo set for Aug. 30-31

The 34th Annual Parker Ranch Round-Up Club Rodeo is Aug. 30 to 31 at the Parker Ranch Rodeo Arena in Waimea on the Big Island.
Entries for the rodeo must be postmarked by Aug. 14 or hand delivered to Parker Ranch headquarters no later than Aug. 18.
Forms are available at Waimea Feed Supply or RR Olson in Waimea, Hog Wild Feed & Supply in Honoka'a, Miranda Country Store or Del's Farm Supply in Hilo and King's Trail Ride in Kealakekua.
Tickets are $5 per person in advance from the Parker Ranch Store at the Parker Ranch Center or $6 at the gate on rodeo days. Children 10 and under are free.

BOXING SHOW WILL FEATURE 15 TO 20 BOUTS
A boxing show, featuring 15 to 20 bouts, is scheduled for Aug. 23 and 25 at 94-547 Ukee Street in Wai'pio Gentry.
Admission is $10 at the door, and the fights start at 7 p.m.
