With "Lost" slated to begin production here of its fifth season on Aug. 19, ABC may have to cough up more money to pay its stars.
Matthew Fox and Evangeline Lilly are asking for a bump in pay, said to be about $150,000 per episode, according to Hollywood trade source. That prompted other performers, now collecting $80,000 to $90,000 per show, to also seek pay hikes.
Meantime, a pair of new characters, Caesar and Ilanna, will make recurring appearances, adding elements of danger and mystery in the new season, debuting next January.
