Arizona signs ex-49er LB Brandon Moore

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — The Arizona Cardinals signed linebacker Brandon Moore to a one-year contract today.
The Cardinals released linebacker David Holloway to make room on the roster for the former San Francisco 49er.
Moore had 22 tackles and 2 1/2 sacks last season and was cut by the 49ers earlier in the week. His best season came in 2006 when he had 92 tackles and 6 1/2 sacks. The 29-year-old is the younger brother of former Cardinals wide receiver and current radio analyst Rob Moore.
Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt said first-round draft pick Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie should play Saturday in Arizona's second preseason game at Kansas City. Rodgers-Cromartie was carted off the practice field yesterday after suffering an ankle injury but was back on the field today.
