Dean Wilson shoots 71, trails leader by 12 in Wyndham tourney

Kane'ohe native Dean Wilson shot a 1-over-par 71 today and is 12 strokes behind clubhouse leader Carl Pettersson in the second round of the Wyndham Championship at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C.
Pettersson shot a 61 and was at 15-under 125, three strokes ahead of Garrett Willis, who shot a 64 today. Wilson is at 137, which is the projected cutline. Several golfers were still on the course when Wilson completed his round.
Wilson's round included bogeys on the par-4 No. 2 and par-5 No. 5 and a birdie on the par-4 No. 8.
The Wyndham Championship is the final tournament before the start of the PGA Tour's FedExCup playoffs.
