Mitsu-Ken co-owner guilty of sexually assaulting a minor

The co-owner of a popular Kalihi restaurant pleaded guilty today to multiple sex assault charges involving a 14-year-old male victim.
Lyle Nonaka, part-owner of Mitsu-Ken Catering, admitted guilt to three counts of first-degree sex assault, one count of promoting child abuse and two counts of third-degree sex assault.
Nonaka will be sentenced Oct. 22 by Circuit Judge Richard Pollack.
The case was prosecuted by Leilani Tan. Defense lawyer Eric Seitz represented Nonaka.
