Prosecutors have charged a 43-year-old man in connection with a road rage incident Sunday on H-1 Freeway near Honolulu International Airport.

Noel Ipoleimanu Keoho Jr. was charged with unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle. His bail is $20,000.

Keoho allegedly reached into the vehicle of another male motorist, 23, to attack him with a crowbar. The complainant suffered minor injuries but refused treatment, police said. The incident was reported to police at 5:20 p.m.

Passengers in the complainant's vehicle restrained the 300-pound Keoho and held him for police.

Keoho has 19 prior criminal convictions, according to Hawai'i Criminal Justice Data Center records.
