DCCA takes disciplinary actions, levies fines

The state Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs and the boards and commissions that oversee professions and vocations recently took disciplinary actions against individuals and businesses.
Board of Pharmacy Gabriel G. Leung, $250 fine Braden Partners LP, dba Pacific Pulmonary Services, $750 fine.Hawai'i Medical Board Dr. Allan V.T. Wang (Kona), $2,000 fine and license on probation for three months, return full and complete medical records to patient. Dr. K.C. Clement Yeung, voluntary revocation of license effective Jan. 31, 2008. Dr. Patrick J. Dean, license reprimanded and placed on probation for one year, provide board with status of pending disciplinary actions in other states, disclose any disciplinary action taken against license within 30 days. Jerry Q. Barton, D.O., $1,000 fine, comply with terms of Florida order. Dr. Augusto Chiriboga, license on probation for three months, comply with terms of Texas order. Dr. Antoine Jean-Marie Cazin, $1,000 fine, license on conditional status until Jan. 16, 2013 or until the board is informed that respondent is able to resume an unconditional practice of medicine, whichever occurs later.Board of Nursing Nancy Evelyn Cole, $3,000 fine, license revoked.Contractors License Board Kyung Chui Shin, $7,500 fine. Iki Contracting Inc. and Uliti Fietonu, RME, $2,500 fine. David A. Bice, dba Tropic Pool and Spa (Kaua'i), $500 fine. Angel G. Utieg, dba Discovery Roofing, $2,500 fine. Parsons RCI Inc. and Ralph E. Raymond RME (Maui), $120,000 fine. Henderson Chu, $750 fine.Real Estate Commission Toti D.O. Manhan, $500 fine. Jamie K. Cho, fka Jamie K. Gunter, $1,000 fine, license revoked. Nathalie Mullinix Realty University Inc. and Nathalie C. Mullinix, $3,000 fine.Board of Examiners in Optometry Vincent Hsu, O.D., $500 fine.
