43 suspected felons arrested on Oahu in federal sweep

A four-day sweep targeting fugitives wanted for felony charges on O'ahu ended yesterday with 43 suspected felons arrested by state and federal law enforcement officers.
Starting Monday and ending on Thursday, 43 arrests were made, 46 warrants were cleared and two new drug cases were generated.
Some 39 law enforcement officers participated from seven different agencies.
"The consistency of operations conducted statewide and the contributions made by the members of the task force to our law enforcement family have a profound and positive impact in reducing crime throughout the communities of Hawai'i," said U.S. Marshal Mark "Dutch" Hanohano, in a news release.
