MORE 'DOODLEBOPS'

"Doodlebops Live!," the Playhouse Disney troupers, will do additional shows for school and family audiences at Blaisdell Concert Hall in September.

The add-on shows will be at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 26 for schools and at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 27-28 and 7 p.m. Sept. 29 for the public.

Sales for the extensions begin at 10 a.m. today at the Blaisdell box office and Ticketmaster outlets. 877-750-4400, www.ticketmaster.com.

Originally-announced shows are at 7 p.m. Sept. 26, and 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sept. 27-28.

First-row seats are $55, with other seats at $14, $20, $30, $40.

NRG BEGINS SEPT. 6

A new late-night party, called NRG Rave, launches Sept. 6 at The Shop, 580 Dillingham Blvd. (second floor), and continues each first Saturday of the month.

The Sept. 6 event features DJ Lyndsay, of electronica fame, from San Francisco; and DJ William Hawkins, Portland, Ore., purveyor of West Coast house music. Also on board: G-Spot and IKON.

The party begins at 9 p.m. Admission is $5 advance, at www.groovetickets.com; $10 at the door.
