A b-boy, DJ, MC and graffiti battle takes place from noon to 5 p.m. today at the Palama Settlement Gym, 810 N. Vineyard Blvd. It's sponsored by 808 Urban, a nonprofit that aims to replace random tagging with murals of artwork and to encourage at-risk youths toward positive goals.

Admission is $5 general ($3 with a flier downloadable at 808urban.com); free for students 17 and younger with school IDs.
