Hawaii gas prices ease by a few more cents this week

The price of gasoline in Hawai'i continues to inch lower, falling to a statewide average of $4.39 for a gallon of regular, AAA-Hawai'i reported yesterday. That's 3 cents lower than last Friday, the AAA said in a news release.
In Honolulu, the average price was $4.28 a gallon, down 4 cents from last Friday.
"For the fifth week, prices have dropped again by just a few cents," said AAA-Hawai'i regional manager Richard Velazquez.
The average price in Hilo on the Big Island was $4.51, up 2 cents from last week. In Wailuku, Maui, it was $4.67, down a penny.
