Seminars set for grandparents raising grandkids

HONOLULU – The public is invited to a free seminar for grandparents who are raising grandchildren.
Attorneys from the Legal Aid Society of Hawai'i will speak on issues such as visitation rights, power of attorney, child protective services, guardianship, adoption and social security.
Attorneys from the Child Support Enforcement Agency will also be available to answer questions.
Participants will receive a free resource kit with information on family caregiving, health care for children, legal matters and much more. Food and beverages will also be served. Registration is not required. The educational workshops run from 9-11:15 a.m. and are scheduled for the following dates and locations:
