Big waves at Sunset as O'Neill World Cup surf meet final day is on

The final day of the O'Neill World Cup of Surfing men's contest is on today in big waves at Sunset Beach.
Wave-face heights are in the 15- to 20-foot range, and could get bigger in the afternoon.
The fifth round, quarterfinals, semifinals and final are scheduled to be completed today. The action will start at 8 a.m. and finish around 4 p.m.
Hawai'i surfers still in the contest are Marcus Hickman, Dusty Payne, Hank Gaskell, Torrey Meister, Ian Walsh and Kamalei Alexander.
The O'Neill World Cup is the second of three contests in the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing series.
