LEXINGTON, Ky. — Kentucky forward Ramon Harris was released from the hospital a day after colliding with a teammate during the first half of the Wildcats' victory over Lamar on Wednesday night.
Harris, a junior, was released today after spending a night in the hospital for observation. Team spokesman John Hayden says he received a blow to the back of the head and is listed as day to day, but that all tests were normal.
Harris was preparing to run up the floor when he ran into guard Michael Porter. The two appeared to hit heads and both fell to the floor.
Hayden says Porter received 10 stitches to a laceration over his left eye.
Harris was averaging 9.3 points and 3.2 rebounds this season for the Wildcats.
