Iolani beats Radford for back-to-back DII state football titles

Kellen Imada rushed for 119 yards and two touchdowns to help 'Iolani defeat Radford, 35-20, for the Raiders' second consecutive state Division II football championship tonight at Aloha Stadium.
'Iolani finished 11-3. Radford was 10-4.
The Raiders took a 14-7 halftime lead, but Radford tied it at 14 on an 18-yard touchdown pass from Doug Brown to Brad Osborne with 7:01 remaining in the third quarter.
'Iolani's Breland Almadova returned the ensuing kickoff 67 yards for a touchdown to give the Raiders a 21-14 lead with 6:46 to go in the third quarter.
Kela Marciel scored on a 70-yard run to boost 'Iolani's lead to 28-14 with 9:44 remaining in the game.
Imada scored on runs of 34 yards in the first quarter and 49 yards in the fourth quarter that gave 'Iolani a 35-14 lead with 8:52 to go.
'Iolani quarterback Jarrett Arakawa was 6 of 11 passes for 65 yards and one touchdown and an interception.
Radford's Mosiah Manuma completed 21 of 33 passes for 167 yards and two touchdowns (22 yards to Andrew Forester and 9 yards to Brad Osborne.
