Advertiser Staff

Honolulu ranks as the third-safest large metropolitan area to live, work and raise a family, according to a study by Farmers Insurance Group.

The company's Most Secure U.S. Places to Live ranking looked at factors such as crime rates, extreme weather, environmental hazards, terrorism threats, job loss and risk of natural disasters.
