Waipahu boxer Brian Viloria defeated Mexico's Benjamin Garcia in a non-title bout today at Los Angeles.

Viloria won by knockout in the second round. It will probably be his last tune-up before an anticipated world championship bout in March.

Viloria improved to 24-2 with the 14th knockout of his career. Garcia dropped to 13-11-3.
