Waikiki burglary suspect charged

Prosecutors today charged a 39-year-old man with allegedly burglarizing a Waikiki retail office in October.
Stacy B. Ball, who has no permanent local address, was arrested Friday at 4:55 p.m. on Kamehameha Highway and Hekaha Street and charged with second-degree burglary today at 12:30 p.m. Ball was identified as a suspect in the Oct. 28 burglary in a photographic lineup, police said.
Ball is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail pending an initial appearance tomorrow at District Court. He is also being held on a $150 warrant.
According to police, a security officer confronted a burglary suspect inside a retail office at about 7:30 p.m. The suspect fled, leaving behind stolen property taken from an adjacent office.
