Residents in the Haleiwa and Waialua areas may see that the city Department of Transportation is conducting an evacuation exercise this morning, using city buses.

City emergency management officials said some people mistakenly thought this exercise was an actual emergency. No emergency exists and no evacuation is being conducted, the city said.
