Pedestrian hit in Ma'ili dies at hospital

A pedestrian hit by a car in Ma'ili last night died this morning, police said.
The 80-year-old Wai'anae woman was crossing Farrington Highway near Liliana Street in a crosswalk when a pickup truck hit her about 5:30 p.m.
Speeding and alcohol were not factors, police said.
The woman, whose name was not disclosed, was taken to The Queen's Medical Center. She died there at 12:33 a.m. today, police said.
It was the fourth pedestrian fatality on O'ahu this year.
