Alpha Blondy has been stricken with pneumonia and has been confined to Kona Community Hospital where he will remain until his condition has stabilized. His concert today at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center in Kahului has been canceled because of his illness, organizers said today, in a news release.

Refunds are available at the MACC box office. Tickets must be returned to the box office for refunds.

The box office will remain open until 6 p.m. today and is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. For recorded information, call 808-242-7469.
