NATIONAL ASSN. OF PARLIAMENTARIANS
Dr. William Puette, director of the Center for Labor Education & Research at the University of Hawai'i-West O'ahu, was recently elected president of the Aloha 'Ohana Parliamentary Unit of the National Association of Parliamentarians. Founded in 1930, NAP helps organizations conduct business efficiently through education and advocacy of effective meeting procedures and the accreditation of all meeting professionals. Puette is a registered parliamentarian.
AIRMED HAWAII
AirMed Hawaii has promoted Alan Agodong to clinical team supervisor, responsible for providing clinical oversight to medical crew members, including medical staff scheduling and payroll administration. Agodong also will continue to keep regular duty hours as a flight nurse, transporting patients between the islands. AirMed is Hawai'i's only accredited air ambulance service, providing medical transportation between the Islands, to the Mainland, and throughout the world.
KIEWIT BUILDING GROUP
Kiewit Building Group has named Kamu Anderson project manager for the renovation of the Hale Koa Hotel. The Hale Koa Hotel project is a $50 million renovation that will upgrade 420 guest rooms in the Ilima Tower as well as the Banyan Tree Showroom, main lobby and main kitchen.
