Obama and Clinton fight for Hawaii support

HONOLULU — The presidential race between Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton has arrived in Hawai'i.
Obama's half-sister, school teacher Maya Soetoro-Ng, is making phone calls Wednesday night rallying support for the Illinois senator who was born and raised in Hawai'i.
Meanwhile, President Bill Clinton and daughter Chelsea Clinton have been making long-distance calls to Hawai'i Democratic Party leaders.
Hawai'i voters will decide which candidate to vote for Tuesday at the state caucus.
Clinton is counting on strong support from labor and Democratic Party leaders, while Obama will draw on his deep roots in the Islands.
Neither candidate has planned campaign trips to Hawai'i.
