Iwalani Rodrigues scored 12 points and Ashlyn Onaga added nine as Kalani beat Radford, 35-27, tonight for the O'ahu Interscholastic Association Girls Red Conference basketball title at McKinley.

Kalani, the East champion, scored the first eight points of the second half to take its largest lead at 27-16 with 4:40 left in the third.

Radford, the West champion, got as close as 29-25 after a three-point play by Marlena Malepeai with 6:06 remaining.

Rodrigues sealed the victory by making 4 of 4 free-throw attempts in the final 55 seconds.

Kalani (13-2) and Radford (14-1) will represent the OIA in next week's Division I state tournament.
