NBA: Timberwolves trade Gerald Green to Rockets
Associated Press
MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Timberwolves traded seldom-used swingman Gerald Green to the Houston today for shooting guard Kirk Snyder.
Minnesota also gets a second-round pick in 2010 and cash.
Green is a Houston native who was taken out of high school by Boston in 2005. He's averaging a little more than five points and two rebounds in scant playing time. He will be a free agent after this season.
Snyder has played in just nine games this season. He's averaging almost four points.
