A $5,000 donation has been made to the 'Ahahui Siwila Hawai'i O Kapolei, the Kapolei Hawaiian Civic Club, by Kapolei Property Development.

The donation will help support the club's native garden at the base of Pu'u O Kapolei, which is part of Kapolei Regional Park.

The club's goal for the garden is to restore indigenous and endemic plants where native plants flourished in ancient times, said Shad Kane, who leads the garden project for the club.

Kapolei Property Development is an affiliate of the James Campbell Co., which succeeded the Estate of James Campbell.
