Preparations are under way as the Baptist World Alliance's executive committee begins meeting here this week, readying for the Baptist World Congress 2010.

Nearly 70 denominational leaders from six continents will gather in Honolulu for the March 2-5 annual meeting. They will be making plans for the 2010 Baptist World Congress at the Hawai'i Convention Center, which is expected to draw more than 13,000 delegates from more than 120 nations.

The executive committee will celebrate with "Hear The Spirit!" Ho'olaulea on Sunday at Hawai'i Baptist Academy.
