Hilo-based D. Buyers Enterprises is selling Hawaii's Own, a leading marketer of frozen tropical juices.

The deal is expected to close Friday.

Hawaii's Own, based in Sumner, Wash., is being bought by James and Lindi Walters and Cheryl Roemer.

James Walters is the national sales manager for Hawaii's Own, and will assume the position of president and chief executive officer. Roemer is Hawaii's Own's controller and will assume the position of chief financial officer.

Robert Ehrhart, the current president of the company, will continue in a consulting capacity.

"The new owners anticipate very few changes in the business and management philosophies will remain intact," according to a news release.
