The placement of portable concrete barriers on H-1 Freeway between the Kunia and Makakilo interchanges will result in lane closures this week, the state Department of Transportation said.

The eastbound right lane will close from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. today through Wednesday.

Westbound, the right lane will close from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday and Friday.

Motorists are advised to use caution and allow for extra travel time when driving through the area.
