Aloha,

I can't tell you how excited I am to be writing these postcards again for the 2008 season. The response I received from so many of you loyal readers was overwhelming and I'm thrilled to do these again in 2008. Normally, I'm sending in my postcards from all over America, but this week it won't take long for the postcard to arrive, as I'm writing from right here in Honolulu and the Sony Open.

This off-season wasn't as long as I hoped it would be with a trip to Q-School, but I'm back where I always wanted to be: The Sony Open and the PGA Tour.

I'm excited to say that I'm maintaining my great relationships with Waikoloa, Oakley and Titleist, but I'm also real excited to start a new 2008 relationship with Citigroup. Citigroup is making the jump on to the PGA Tour, and to be a part of its first group of golfers is an honor.

There is a ton of excitement this week. Every year I get to play here is special. I literally grew up on this golf course — whether it be learning how to play the game on the range as an 8 year old, or working at the course throughout high school — and it's a dream come true to be able to tee it up at the Sony Open.

Now that this is my second year on Tour, I feel that I belong out here. It took me a while to understand that, and it took me a while to believe that I can compete on this stage. Now that 2008 is upon us, I have that belief that when I tee it up, I can win.

I look forward to seeing everyone out there this week at the course. I can't wait for a great 2008, and a great year of Postcards from Parker. I will see you all here on Thursday, and see you on www.ParkerMcLachlin.com during the week.

Mahalo,

Parker.
