BROWN CONCERT SOLD OUT
Yes, R&B star Chris Brown is coming for a Feb. 2 concert at the Blaisdell Arena, but it's already sold out. He has added a Feb. 3 show at the Blaisdell Arena. Tickets go on sale today at Ticketmaster.
Brown's latest disc is "Exclusive," released in November, which is still among the top 10 in the Billboard charts (ditto the single "Kiss Kiss").
SPAM JAM IN MAY
Mark your calendars for the 6th annual Spam Jam, happening from 4 to 10 p.m. May 3 on Kalakaua Avenue.
About 20,000 attended last year's festival, according to organizers. The jam, which celebrates all things associated with that pink meat, an Island favorite for generations, is a benefit for the Hawaii Foodbank.
Two stages of entertainment, Spam-themed T-shirts, shorts, slippers and other merchandise and offerings from a dozen restaurants are among the highlights.
