Godfather of drum 'n' bass Dieselboy returns to Honolulu today for a session of seamless beats characterized by the jungle king's flawless, quick-paced execution.

Dieselboy was last here for the annual Planet of the Drums tour, a festival-like gathering of drum and bass turntablists.

This time around, Dieselboy brings the beat with DV One of the Rock Steady Crew, with the Spacifics, DJ G-spot, SovernT and Quiksilva representing the local scene.

Dieselboy and Co. spin at 9 p.m. at Indigo. Tickets are $10 at www.groovetickets.com; or $15 at the door. Admission is for those 21 and older.
