Ka Iwi hike includes lesson on coastal plants

Ken Suzuki of the Hawaii Nature Center will lead a family hike along the Ka Iwi Coast from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
The excursion will include a lesson on native coastal plants and a leisurely lunch at Pele's Chair. The hiking portion will be about two miles.
For reservations or more information, call the Hawaii Nature Center at 955-0100. The cost is $14 for a nonmember parent/child team.
