Singer Paul Shimomoto, 2007 Hawaii Music Award winner for contemporary music, brings a hapa-haole repertoire to Hawai'i Public Radio's Atherton Performing Arts Studio, 738 Kaheka St., at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Accompanied by Bobby Nishida, guitar; Mark Tanouye, bass; Shawn Carroll, drums; and Jeanette Trevias, piano, he'll share tunes from his CD "Sentimental Alibi," which was nominated for album of the year, male vocalist of the year and Island music of the year in this year's Na Hoku Hanohano Awards; $20 general, $17.50 HPR members, $10 students; reservations: 955-8821.
