It's a big summer for big movies again, but there are smaller indies worth a look, too. Among them:
• "Surfwise," a documentary about Dorian Paskowitz, right, his wife and nine kids. They lived in a camper, looking for perfect waves. It screens at 7:30 p.m. today and Monday; 1 and 7:30 p.m. tomorrow, and Tuesday to Friday at the Doris Duke Theatre, Honolulu Academy of Arts. Rated R.
• "The Rape of Europa," which screened at the Doris Duke Theatre in December, is now at the Kahala Mall complex. The documentary tells of the Nazi looting of priceless works of art during World War II. Film critic Roger Ebert gave it HHH.
