ROGERS, Ark. — Meena Lee and Eun-Hee Ji led by one stroke at the LPGA Tour's NW Arkansas Championship when the second round finally ended Sunday.
The 54-hole event was interrupted by rain Friday and Saturday, and about half the field had to arrive early at Pinnacle Country Club to finish the second round. Lee finished her round Saturday at 12 under par. Ji was also at 12 under with two holes left when play ended Saturday. She bogeyed No. 17 and birdied No. 18 Sunday for a second-round 65.
Kristy McPherson, Angela Park and Seon Hwa Lee were a shot back. Park shot a 10-under 62 in the second round Saturday, equaling the lowest round on the LPGA Tour this year. U.S. Women's Open champion Inbee Park was among a group of five players at 9 under.
This tournament was called off after 18 holes last year because of rain. Stacy Lewis was the leader but didn't get credit for an official victory. Lewis, a former star at the University of Arkansas, was six shots off the lead after two rounds this year.
