Moanalua alum Stephany Lee wins wrestling gold in Greece

Hawai'i's Stephany Lee won a gold medal to help the United States to the women's freestyle team title Friday at the World University Wrestling Championships in Thessoloniki, Greece.
Lee, a Moanalua High alum and three-time state champion, defeated Russia's Ekaterina Bukina, 9-7, in the final at 72 kilograms (158.5 pounds). She also won at this event in 2004.
Lee, 23, is a resident athlete at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. and is a member of the Sunkist Kids Wrestling Club.
