Baggage bill: Hawaiian Airlines will charge customers $17 for a second checked bag each way on interisland flights for tickets purchased on or after July 8 for travel on or after July 15. There is a $25 fee each way for a second checked bag on flights between the Mainland and Hawai'i.

Hawai'i's other interisland carrier, go!, began charging a $25 fee for a second checked bag last month. Both airlines said the new baggage charge was added because of higher jet fuel prices.
